About Helen Fay Counselling
I have experience of counselling within an NHS GP Surgery ( Bishops Castle Surgery, Shropshire ) where I supported my clients through issues such as relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, depression, past sexual abuse or neglect, and anxiety issues.
I became interested in counselling after experiencing counselling myself due to suffering multiple miscarriages and post-natal depression. I believe that through having experienced loss and depression myself, I have better insight into my client’s distress.
I have also worked as a volunteer for Home-Start, working with young families.
I continue to update my training and professional development and am currently undertaking a certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
